Templates

Four ready-made rule sets to start a launch from. Each one is a complete, valid set of rules, and you can change any of it before you launch.

Custom rules

Every template is a starting point. On the Launch page you can change any rule, add breakpoints (up to eight per rule), switch between steps and straight lines, or make the sell fee follow Hold Streak. The grade updates as you edit, and the safety limits are checked as you go.

The Rulebook

The Rulebook holds rule templates people made on CAST. You can make your own and keep it private or publish it, and save anyone's public template with the bookmark button to use later. Saved templates are under Saved in the Rulebook and at the top of the first step on the Launch page.

Sort the Rulebook by Most used, Newest, Oldest or Best grade. Most used counts tokens launched from a template on the CAST Launch page. After the launch confirms, the page reports the token, and CAST counts it only if the token launched in the last day and its sealed rules exactly match the template. Each token counts once. A launch whose rules were changed first doesn't count, and neither does a launch made outside the Launch page, because nothing reports it.

Making or saving a template needs you to be signed in. CAST asks right after you connect a wallet, or the Rulebook asks when you first need it. Signing in is a free signature, not a transaction, and lasts 30 days. Templates and saves belong to your wallet, so they follow you to any device where you sign in with it. A saved template always shows its author's latest version; if the author makes it private it drops off your list, and if they delete it, it is gone. Launching from a template copies its rules into your launch, so later changes never touch a token you already launched.
