CAST Docs

How CAST works, in plain words.

CAST launches tokens whose fees, limits and every future change are sealed into the contract before the first buy. Each token trades against one asset, chosen at launch: ETH, USDG or a stock token. It starts on a bonding curve and graduates into a locked Uniswap v4 pool. These docs explain the rules, show you how to trade and launch, and give developers everything needed to build on it.

A launch, start to finish

Every CAST token moves through the same four stages, in order, and never goes back. The rules for each stage are fixed at launch. Separately, every token starts on a bonding curve and graduates into its pool once the curve has raised its target, whatever stage it's in.

  1. 01Launch
    The launch block

The token, its bonding curve and its pool are created, and the creator can make the first buy.

  2. 02Shield
    Up to 24 hours

Buy and sell fees may go up to 25%, to make sniping expensive.

  3. 03Growth
    Until the end date

Fees move along their sealed schedules toward their final values.

  4. 04Locked In
    Forever

Every time-based rule stays at its last value. A Hold Streak sell fee still follows each seller's streak.
